After making kid quilts with some rather wild designs, I was asked to make a 'calm' adult quilt. I attempted to make 'calm' by using a white background, simple and repetitive shapes, and gorgeous solid fabrics. Needless to say, 'bold' happened instead.

This quilt is machine pieced, appliqued and quilted. The back is pieced with squares of the same fabric. The quilting is done in loopy, spirally lines on the white areas with bright yellow thread.
